The post says that fans seemed so enamored by the robes, that it's now something that can be downloaded for either the PC or Xbox versions of Elder Scrolls 5, either through Nexus Mods, or Bethesda itself. And now it looks as though there are some downloadable assets for those who can't wait for it to be released.Īccording to a recent tweet from the developer, a standalone mod has been made available for Skyrim which allows players to don the Necromancer Robes. Then there's Skyblivion, a full conversion mod which, as the name may suggest, rwill recreate Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion in Skyrim's engine.
While some Skyrim mods are just plain weird, there are those which go to great lengths to add new assets, fix bugs, or implement whole side quests, becoming large projects in themselves. Although the world and lore of the now-decade old The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim is large enough already, the fact that fans are dedicated to making mods for it means the game is always being expanded upon in numerous ways.
